Worlds bronze medallist Caroline Ryan has had a tough day in Glasgow, but is building form
World Championship bronze medallist on the track in Melbourne back in April, Caroline Ryan has endured a less successful day at the UCI World Cup meeting in Glasgow today, Saturday.
The former international rower finds herself in 14th position of the 19-rider field at the halfway point in the omnium. The women completed three of the six events today, with the remaining three to follow tomorrow.
Ryan was 15th in the flying lap, 12th in the points race and 15th in the elimination race this evening to leave her in 14th overall.
While she would like to be higher in the standings, she said today she felt she was building the form that she will need to qualify for the World Championships in Minsk in February and to do a good ride once she gets there.
