John Buller of Banbridge CC has extended his great run of form of late by taking another win; this time at the Eddie Crory Cup.

He sprinted in at the head of the breakaway group in Rathfriland, Co Down, to win from Nathan Mullan of Dromara CC in a bunch sprint.

Matt Teggart, riding in the colours of French team AC Bisontine, rounded out the podium from in-form junior rider Dean Harvey (VC Glendale).

Karl Morgan (Phoenix CC) was 5th followed by Olympics-bound Mark Downey (Côtes d'Armor), Paul Antoine Hagan (Banbridge CC) and Shay Donley (Powerhouse Sport).

Coming towards the finish it was Gareth O'Neill (Caldwell Cycles) and Drew McKinley of host club Newry Wheelers out front, having pulled out a very solid gap.

However, with Buller in the chasing bunch, and having been in such good form lately, the Banbridge CC riders helped pull back the two escapees.

Once they were caught it was Mark McKinley (Newry Wheelers) who took it up early in the charge to the line, though he was overhauled and Buller came through for victory.

He has already won several races this year including the Annaclone GP, Brendan Campbell Memorial and a round of the Kinning Series at Nutts Corner.
