Elia Viviani won stage 2 of the Tour of Britain after Edvald Boasson Hagen was relegated for his sprinting moves.

The 211.7km stage from Kielder Water and Forest Park to Blyth came down to a sprint that Boasson Hagen won after moving around the road.

He crossed the line in 1st place and celebrated his win. But the man who was 2nd over the line, Viviani, put his hand up in protest as the stage finished.

The Italian riding for Team Sky was clearly unhappy with the Norwegian from Dimension Data.

Overhead footage of the sprint definitely shows Boasson Hagen moving to his left and closing the door n Viviani.
