Superman: Sam Bennett sprints to a third professional victory this year on the final stage of the 2.HC ranked Bayern Rundfahrt stage race today.

Sam Bennett has taken his third victory of the season with a sensational sprint win on the final stage of the Bayern Rundfahrt stage race in Germany today, Sunday.
The Irish man, who finished fourth on the opening stage, said he opened his sprint to the line a little too early today but still got the better of Yauheni Hutarovich of Ag2r, Raymond Kreder of Garmin Sharp and the rest of the peloton at the end of 160km stage in Nuremberg.
Overall victory in the four day, 2.HC ranked race went to Geraint Thomas of Team Sky who finished safely in the main field to take the win ahead of Mathias Frank (IAM Cycling) and his teammate Vasili Kiryienka.

Bennett meanwhile took the points classification and was 113th overall of the 122 finishers.
