Lucy Benezet Minns (Tofauti Everyone Active Women) has done the double again at the National Road Championships, winning the junior women's road race crown today just three days after taking TT gold.
The 18-year-old, who was 4th in the TT at the World Road Championships in Scotland last year, also claimed both national titles 12 months ago, thus today completing a clean sweep of the four titles on offer to ger in her junior years.
Today she again rode from the front, in Athea, Co Limerick, and topped a podium that included her team mate Aliyah Rafferty in 2nd place, with Aine Doherty of VC Glendale taking the bronze medal.

Rafferty finished 5:36 down on solo winner Benzet Minns, with Doherty at 6:54. Aoife Bakovic of Dutch outfit Watersley Race & Development CT claimed 4th place at 9:12, finishing in the same time as Kat Murphy of Sliabh Luachra Cycling Club.
Rhiannon Dolan (TC Racing) rounded out the top six on the day, finishing at the head of a three-rider group that finished 13:49 down, and which also included Aoibhinn Sharkey (VC Glendale) and Aine Reilly (Orwell Wheelers).
