Aaron Wade has made his own of the Mondello Series in Co Kildare at times this season and the Cortizo Aluminium Team rider claimed another success on the motor racing circuit this evening in the Usher IRC promotion.
Wade's latest 2023 victory comes just a day after Cycling Ireland confirmed the 21-year-old was part of a six-strong Irish team for the Junior & U23 European Track Championships in Portugal next month.
Wade came to the finish line this evening for a two-up sprint against fellow international JB Murphy (Kilcullen Cycling Club Murphy Geospacial), with Wade getting the better of Murphy. Behind the leading duo, junior rider Josh Callaly (Navan Road Club) beat Mark Donnelly-Orr (Lucan Cycling Road Club) in another two-man battle for the final step on the podium on the night.
