You didn’t get up in the Track Champs this year? The winter mileage count a little low of late? Not to worry. A shortcut to world domination has just come to hand in the shape of…. Toy maker Hornby’s new Scalextric velodrome set.
Just newly launched onto the market, the two rider electric velodrome will enable you ride to victory after victory this Christmas, without evening having to leave the sofa.
Joking aside, we think this is a great idea and a real winner for Christmas presents for young, and not so young, kids.
In fact, if Santa doesn’t bring us one, we’re gonna have to burst the big guy.
The sets – which seem to be only available in GB colours (boo hoo) - have been launched by the British toy manufacturer to capitalise on the popularity of track cycling and in anticipation of GB velodrome domination in London 2012.
They’re retailing online at anything between £45 and £75. So get onto Google, hunt them down and shop around for the best price.
