The domestic scene will see this weekend’s road racing being fought out in Meath, Dublin and Kerry, with a strong offering for youth riders as well as seniors.

And looking just beyond this Saturday and Sunday, there is midweek racing next week in the shape of the Mondello Series in Co Kildare and the Appleby Orwell Women's Beginner League in Dublin.

On Saturday in Co Meath, Bohermeen Cycling Club is hosting the Mick Beggan Memorial – with U12 and 14 racing as well as a selection of racing for seniors.

The club is going to have a busy weekend, as it is running an U16 stage race over the two days, as well as the Waller Cup on Sunday.

On Saturday, race HQ for the senior, U12 and U14 races is at Bohermeen Community Centre. The U12, U14 and U16 (part of the two-day) races start at 12 noon. The C1-C2-C3-Jnr-Womens race – a handicapped event over 60km – gets underway at 2pm.
