Astana has won the prize for best (or worst?) video launch of the new season. In the clip, below, the riders and even team manager, Alexander Vinokourov - who won 2012 Olympics after returning from a doping ban - rap along to a song penned especially for the occasion.
The blandly titled 'Astana is My Team' is probably not going to cause Snoop Dog any sleepless nights. But this is certainly the most unusual and amusing team launch video we've seen. And to be fair to the Kazakhstani team, they really enter into the spirit of the occasion.

The new 2022 team launch video is not the first time Astana has ventured in the novelty video arena. A video to mark Valentine's Day back in 2018 featured the team's bike taking the place of a rider's romantic partner during dates, walks on the beach and even in "painful break-up scenes" - take a look below.
