Only for this moto marshal, this young boy on his bike was getting into this passing peloton at the Tour of Croatia.
We've seen dogs run out into the peloton and even the odd horse down the years.
And we've had official cars and race motos knock riders off. and people step into the road to take photos and selfies as the pro peloton was passing.
But the scene captured in the clip below at Friday's stage of the Tour of Croatia was a new one on us.
A young boy on has bike had sneaked up an incline and looked set to try and join the peloton but for the vigilant moto official who spotted him.
The kid was blocked from continuing any further and, joking aside, it must be said the incident created a nasty little obstacle on a tight corner.
Everyone looked to be OK, with no fallers.
