This video went viral on social media over the past week but now the victim in the clip has come forward. And she says she suffered horrendous injuries as a result of this assault by a man in a passing car.
A woman who featured in a video that went viral online said she suffered awful injuries as she was assaulted by a man from a passing car.
The victim was riding her bike when a man reached out of the back window of the vehicle and pushed her into the side of the road.
As a result the cyclist lost control and crashed in the undergrowth at the roadside, much to the amusement of those in the passing vehicle.
However, the assault was far from a laughing matter for the cyclist. And she has told Cycling Weekly that she sustained serious injuries.

The British site shared stickybottle's Tweet of the video and it was seen by the woman, who is based in England. She then contacted Cycling Weekly to set out what had happened.
Aged 55 years, she was cycling along a quiet country road at the end of last September when she was pushed off her bike.

She said she was horrified it had been recorded by those in the car who targeted her. But she thanked those who had comment on the video expressing concern and best wishes.
“I still hadn’t fully recovered physical or mentally, although I’m getting there,” she said of the assault.
“When I started to cycle at the beginning of 2018 I was so proud of myself as were my three grown-up children. These d**kheads have spoilt all that.
“I lost my front tooth, cracked a bone in top of my arm, had really bad bruising and scratches off the thorns all over me, including my face.
“My coat was ripped to shreds as was my front tyre. My wheel was also buckled. And that’s without my mental scars.”
