Video: Watch BBC's Tour commentators' desk collapse live on air

Rob Hayles tries to grab the desk and keep it up while his BBC colleague Hatch just kept going like nothing had happened.

On the Tour de France, you don’t only find professionals in the bunch, as this short clip of the BBC’s commentators shows.

At the end of stage 4 of the race when Marcel Kittel (Etixx-QuickStep) romped in to win, Rob Hatch and Rob Hayles were commentating live on air for BBC Radio 5 and also had a camera on them.

So when the lads got a bit over excited relaying the action to the public and the desk gave way, they didn’t miss a beat.

Hatch simply continued calling the action for listeners while Hayles got a bit of a fright and tried to catch the desk as it went flying.
