The flick with the wheel of the bottle rolling into his path showed unreal bike control skills.
One massive difference between the pros and us mere mortals is how closely they ride to each other and, quite simply, the control they have when throwing their bikes around.
They ride in a much tighter formation than ‘regular’ cyclists and are much faster descending simply because they know how to do it better.

But Tobias Ludvigsson has taken bike control to an art form with the flick in the clip below.
The Giant-Alpecin rider was in the breakaway on yesterday’s stage 10 of the Vuelta when a number of riders discarded their bottles at the same time.
With the camera fixed on the group and Ludvigsson last man, one of the bottles rolled back into the road towards him.
But rather than panic, pull the brakes and go over the handlebars – or do a massive swerve like most of us would – he decided to show off his skills.
He did a little bunny hop and flick, shunting the bottle back to the side of the road the way a confident soccer played would control a ball.
Have a look and see what you think; bloody brilliant!
This is brilliant
