This police officer tried to move a group of kids along but left having been given a lecture in law and policing by one of them, all of which was caught on camera.
He sounded like he was acting on complaints from people in the area at the time, but when this police officer tried to move these BMX kids along he regretted it pretty quick.
Rather than simply move on when asked to, one of the kids stood his ground.
He insisted on being told what law he and his buddies were breaking by cycling along the boulevard at Rainbow Harbor, Long Beach.

And when the officer tried to insist the kids simply move because they weren’t permitted under law to ride there, the kid insists they are allowed.
He then proceeds to quote in great detail the laws that allow bike riding in the area and then lectures the police officer, telling him he is there to uphold the law and that his opinions when doing so are not relevant.
Ouch!
