A bike shop in Co Wexford
is counting the cost of an early morning robbery today during which a bike
valued at about €10,000 was stolen.
The good news, if you could call it that, is that the bike is one of only three of its kind in Ireland.
And the custom build of the one stolen - an Evil Offering - makes it unique.
We’ve included a full
description of bike and components below and hopefully this machine will be
spotted.
Members of the off-road
community might keep an especially close eye out for this in case it turns up
somewhere being offered for sale.
The robbery, which is
captured in the CCTV footage below, occurred at about 6am today at the Revolve
Bike Shop in Gorey.
As the video above shows, the thief smashed the shop’s window, grabbed the bike and was gone in seconds.
The bike is a blue Evil Offering frame, as pictured at the top of this item, and all of the components are listed further below.
Anyone who knows the
Revolve shop in Gorey knows they’ve created a great business; even winning an
award at the Irish Independent Retailer Awards earlier this year.
It would be great to get this bike back for them so please keep your eyes and ears open.
We had a great result recently when a lot of bikes were stolen from a house in Clonmel and after a public appeal, including on stickybottle, and some great work by gardai the bikes were found. So hopefully the same can happen this time around.
