These two bike boxes were dropped off a high bridge to crash to the ground below, with two very different outcomes. One is a cheap Chinese copy; the other a branded expensive box.
The clip below does exactly what it says on the tin; it drops what is claimed to be a quality bike box from a bridge at the same time as a cheap Chinese import.
The test is designed to check the durability and strength of the more expensive BikeBoxAlan model against the much cheaper but apparently poorer quality product.
The Chinese model, which the clip says comes with a one-year guarantee, shatters like cheap plastic on impact.
The boxes go off the same bridge at the same time to make the large drop and crash on the ground below.

It’s not exactly the performance you’re looking for from a box you buy to transport your expensive bike onto planes where it will likely get seriously bashed around being loaded and unloaded.

But the BikeBoxAlan stands up to the impact, simply bouncing when it hits the ground and staying intact.
