Paris-Roubaix took almost six hours for the winner to complete and as if we needed proof, this three-minute video sums up what absolute carnage unfolded. Take a look - and prepare to be horrified! (Photo - Daniel McMahon on Twitter)
Well-known is the fact that Paris-Roubaix is one of the hardest races pro cyclists will ever do - but few of us mere mortals have any idea of just how hard.
This video below, produced by Velon, takes viewers into the peloton to see just what the hell goes on in the Hell of the North.
And folks, it ain’t pretty.
There’s effing and blinding and all kinds of crazy stunts being pulled by riders trying to be at the front.
But of course, it's impossible for everyone to be at the front and what happens as a consequence is lots and lots of crashes.
In their mission statement, Velon CC said they want to bring fans closer to the riders in the races – and they certainly have with this.
