Mark Downey and Felix English have done enough in the madison event at the World Track Championships in Berlin to qualify for the Olympics, Cycling Ireland has said.
Denmark won the gold medal from New Zealand and Germany, with Downey and English finishing in 11th place for Ireland.
And because the Irish beat Hong Kong and Portugal,
Cycling Ireland has said the Irish duo have qualified for the Olympics.
