Video: The McDonalds McBike cycle-through. Are we lovin' it or not lovin' it?

It's arrived; McDonald's has built a new McBike - a drive through style service especially for cyclists.

A scary development or the timely recognition of the spending power of cyclists by one of the biggest brands in the world?

Whatever your feelings, the latest McBike development by the McDonalds fast food company is an interesting one.

The clip below shows the McBike in Copenhagen, launched as part of a global marketing drive to put on 24 events or concepts in cities around the world.

Cyclists use a dedicated lane to cycle up to the outside of the restaurant and order their food via an intercom in the same way motorists use a drive through.

They then pay for their food and collect it at hatches a little further up the bike lane.
