This truck unfolds/expands into the very impressive Team Sky race hub in this video. It's a bit like a real-life and very impressive Transformer (robots in disguise - Ed)
Video inside new Team Sky race hub
Here's our first look inside Team Sky's new race hub. And we think you'll agree, it's pretty impressive.
At stickybottle we love the fact cycling fans can get so physically close to the stars of the sport at bike races.
It's one of the things that sets cycling apart from other sports and we surrender it at our peril.
For us, creating areas like this 'race hub' risks putting barriers between the riders and fans.
Having said that, the teams have long had their luxury coaches. So they already have those as an option to step into and away from the crowd.
It is pretty funny to hear Dave Brailsford in this clip suggesting the team is actually getting closer to the public.
Whatever your attitude towards this race hub, it really is very cool.
Structures like this have been used by Formula 1 teams for a while now. And Team Sky has launched its one at the Vuelta.
The structure, which expands from the back of a truck, is effectively a mini race HQ for the team.
It will be used on each stage and is two-storey. Riders, staff and guests can meet there and have privacy away from the media and fans.
The team's chefs cook in the race hub, riders eat in it and team meetings are held there. It will also be used to host VIPs and sponsors.
Team Sky claims the media will even work there at times. You should probably take that last bit with a pinch of salt.
