The oncoming truck appeared to stop dead to avoid hitting the Team Sky bus after the bus gave this rider what sounded like the fright of his life.
A British cyclist has captured a close encounter with traffic while out for a ride. But this time the footage has a twist; the vehicle that got too close for his liking was one of Team Sky’s luxury coaches.
Cyclist Andy Rolfe has released the footage by posting it on Twitter.
He let a shout out at the driver, probably out of fright, but thankfully there was no collision or injury.
The Team Sky bus was overtaking the cyclist on a country lane and while the front of the vehicle appeared to give the rider a reasonable amount of space, that quickly changed.

An oncoming truck rounded the bend ahead, with the Team Sky coach pulling back into its side of the road – tight – in order to avoid the truck ahead.
The result was what sounded like the fright of his life for the cyclist, judging by his shout.

And the truck also appeared to stop dead in the road to ensure it didn’t collide with the Team Sky coach.
In the bus driver's defence, he was overtaking on a broken white line. Maybe the lesson is that these roads just aren't suitable for trucks and buses....
