The spectator in white knocked Adam Yates off his stride, but he managed to stay upright.
More video is emerging of the Tour de France's chaotic ascent of Mont Ventoux on yesterday's stage 12, with the clips below featuring Adam Yates (Orica-BikeExchange) and Nairo Quintana (Movistar).
Yates is struck - accidentally but with significant contact being made - and is very lucky to have stayed upright.
And the clip of Quintana picks him up as he is passing the sport where a stricken Chris Froome (Team Sky) has crashed moments earlier.
Quintana is seen holding onto a race moto has he passes Froome.
But to be fair to the Colombian, it looks like he was trying to steady himself and get past the chaos around Froome without stopping and unclipping.
The clips really hammer home just how crazy it was out there.
