Super doper Lance Armstrong with the doped up nodding dogs George Hincapie and Levi Leipheimer pretending to look innocent and shocked by his side as "Big Tex" lectures Paul Kimmage.
Lance Armstrong has raised the prospect of Paul Kimmage interviewing on stage in Dublin when month when he appears at the One Zero Conference in Dublin.
Kimmage has said he’ll sit down with Armstrong for interview, just not on the terms of the doper has set down.
He said Armstrong was confusing him with a “one of the muppets who used to dance to his tune”.
One must remember the last time an effort was made to begin a public interview between the two men.
Kimmage went to the Tour of California in 2009 and put questions to Armstrong from the floor, saying his requests for a conventional interview were turned down.
Armstrong hadn’t been brought down at the time and his reply to Kimmage is absolutely obnoxious in light of what we know now – or anyone with their eyes open knew then.
Check out the doped up nodding dogs George Hincapie and Levi Leipheimer pretending to look innocent and shocked by Armstrong’s side as he lectures Paul Kimmage and tells him he’s not worth the chair he’s sitting on.
Both were found to have doped through their careers but did deals with the anti doping authorities that meant they escaped with short bans after supplying information about drugs in cycling.
That famous press conference...
