Peter Sagan was angry in his post-race interview and didn't try to hide it. We also have a round-up of video news shorts from Gent-Wevelgem and Volta A Catalunya.

World champion Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe) was clearly annoyed at the end of Gent-Wevelgem yesterday when he felt other riders were all marking him as their priority.

Sagan's frustration was evident in his post race interview - in the first clip below. He said it was a "cheap game" being played by the others.

But he also took the opportunity to remind his rivals who expected him to do the lion's share of the work that he could decide to race against them too.

"I could decide who could win," he said, taking aim in particular at Nikki Terpstra (Quick-Step Floors).

When Jens Keukeleire (Orica-Scott) and Greg Van Avermaet (BMC Racing) pulled clear from the five-man breakaway, Terpstra looked at Sagan and waited; apparently expecting for him to close the gap.

But the world champion declined and the two leaders rode away with the race.

Van Avermaet took the two-up sprint to become the first man to win Gent-Wevelgem, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and E3 Harelbeke in one season.

A clearly angry Sagan added he was now very motivated for the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix.

As well as the Peter Sagan interview below, there are also Gent-Wevelgem highlights and Tony Martin's crash in the same race.

We've also included two clips from the final stage of Volta a Catalunya. There, Dan Martin attacked in the final only to be marked by Alejandro Valverde.

They were caught right on the line in what was a thrilling finish, with Valverde incredibly holding on for his third stage win, and overall victory.

Chris Froome also risked his crown jewels again in the same race, having done so at the Tour de France last year.

He attacked on his own in the closing kilometres and sat on the crossbar to get lower and more aero while also pedalling furiously.
