Video: Seymour 'front wheel cornering' in very sketchy places in Spain

Robin Seymour throwing his bike around trails with absolutely no room for mistakes in Spain...

Olympian and current Masters MTB World Champion Robin Seymour pulled off some nice 180 ‘front wheel cornering’ on his way to cyclocross victory in Glencullen at the weekend.

And now a video has emerged of the off-road legend practicing the move on a very sketchy trail for such manoeuvres earlier this year.

In the first clip, shot by the inimitable Joe McCall; Seymour is bailing down the Camino de la Plata trail in Gran Canaria.

The trail may be solid but it’s bumpy and there’s a nasty fall in store if you misjudge it and go off the edge.

Like he did in Glencullen at the weekend, Seymour reaches the hairpin and throws the bike around it by the front wheel, with the rear wheel in the air.

Over the edge of that hairpin is this drop:

The second video below, also brought to us courtesy of McCall, is a highlights film of the trip the Irish group was on.

They did five days of point to point riding each day, staying at a different hotel every night and generally larging it up.

To recap; Seymour’s shuffle is in the first clip below and if you watch it to the end the camera pans over the side of the hairpin to showing the drop down the other side.

The second clip features a highlights film of the full trip, which took place in April of this year. Thanks again to Joe McCall for the footage.
