Video: Roche takes a call in the tri bars on a highway at 40kmph!

Cool as you like, Nicolas Roche stays in the tri bars while he takes a call on the mobile mid spin!

The pro riders are renowned for their bike control and Nicolas Roche is one of those who can handle himself very well indeed on a bicycle.

So when he was out getting some miles in on his TT bike in the Middle East with fellow WorldTour pro Ryan Mullen (Cannondale-Drapac), Roche took a call on his mobile without even getting out of the tri bars.

He yapped away at 40km per hour, keeping perfect control of the bike while staying on the hard shoulder!

Roche was in Doha last week where he rode the individual TT for Ireland and the TTT with his Team Sky outfit.

He is also down to start the Abu Dhabi Tour which gets underway tomorrow, Thursday, and which also counts Michael O'Loughlin (Team Wiggins) on the start sheet.

The race is a major one for O'Loughlin; the 19-year-old in his first year out of the juniors and rode for the Nicolas Roche Performance Team - an Irish junior development outfit - just last year.
