This motorist goes pretty loopy during this road rage incident, but escapes serious punishment in the courts despite brandishing a knife.
There’s no doubt this cyclist was blessed he was recoding proceedings.
After an incident at a roundabout the motorist sped past the rider and then pulled in, jumping out of his van to remonstrate.
He also pulled a knife on the cyclist who retreated, as most people would, when he saw the weapon.
The incident was recorded on both the cyclist’s helmet cam and his bike-mounted camera.

And but for the footage the true extent of the threat the he endured would never have become known.
After the clip was recorded, presented to the police and the matter went to court in Western Australia the motorist got off with what appears to be a slap in the wrist; at $1,500 fine.
That’s about €970, not much for threatening somebody with a knife.
