Video: Riders chased by huge ostrich in full-on training ride pursuit

This remarkable footage has just emerged of an ostrich chasing two riders down a lengthy stretch of road while they were out training in Africa.

Here's a clip that speaks for itself. It appears to have been recorded in Africa yesterday, Saturday, and shows an ostrich chasing two riders out for a spin.

At the time of writing it was unclear what part of Africa this magic moment was witnessed, but we'll bring you further details when we get them.

What we definitely do know is that the bird runs into the road - at some quite considerable speed - and sets about pursuing the two cyclists for quite a prolonged period.

The footage has been captured by a third rider behind the giant bird, who got the footage of a lifetime from the mad scenario unfolding in front of his eyes.
