Video: Rider narrowly escapes being milled by team car at Paris-Tours

The crash in the clip below coming into a roundabout was bad enough, but check out how close the Ag2r rider came to being hit at speed by a team car and the expert bike handling that kept him out of trouble at Paris-Tours.

Above, Jelle Wallays (Topsport Vlaanderen – Baloise) sprints to victory yesterday at the end of 237km, beating French favourite Thomas Voeckler (Europcar).

The duo had been in an early breakaway and managed to stay clear of the rest of the field, sprinting it out for the win just 12 seconds ahead of a large group that contested the minor placings.
