Two of the riders on their way to the Tour Down Under get past just in the time, but the last man on the road is not so lucky; incredible footage and something you don't see too often.
Some of the riders in the Tour Down Under today had their first crash of the season in a high-speed fall approaching the finish.
Luckily for Ireland’s Sam Bennett; while the fallers were right beside him he emerged unscathed.
However, one man who was not so lucky is last rider of the group in the clip below.
The trio are cycling towards Wednesday’s Tour Down Under stage 2 to have a look at the pros in action when a tree falls as they're riding past.
The rider recording had passed the tree moments before it fell.
And his buddy directly behind also just about got out of the way in time, before the tree fell into the road completely blocking it.
The last man of three – who you can just about see back the road – managed to stop and avoid ploughing into the tree.
But he did come off in the process, no doubt having had the fright of his life.
It’s an amazing piece of footage and luckily for all involved they weren't hit by the falling timber, which could have been devastating.
