Nairo Quintana was trying to put time into Chris Froome with just over 4km to the summit finish, but he gave this running fan a brilliant selfie moment on the move.
Pro riders have appealed again and again to over-excited fans to stay back and not run alongside them on big climbs. And the Spanish police have been out in force on this Vuelta in a bid to keep spectators under control.
Chris Froome (Team Sky) gave one Colombian fan a slap during the Tour de France when he got too close.
And George Bennett (LottoNL-Jumbo) knocked out a spectator who stepped into the road in Andorra on the same race last month; afterwards saying the incident would hopefully prove a lesson to others by the roadside to be more careful.

But when the road kicked up yesterday on stage 10 of the Vuelta to the summit finish at Covadonga, Nairo Quintana looked to pose for a selfie with a running fan.
The fan ran alongside the eventual stage winner and said something to him, with Quintana looking at his camera for just about long enough for a great selfie if the spectator was on the ball.
All this was going on as Quintana was riding towards the stage win and race lead and while he was trying to put as much time as possible into Froome who was in difficulty just down the road.
All the Movistar man needs now is a ball for his nose!
With 4km remaining to summit finish...
