Beaten into 2nd place and facing a line of questioning that only he would face, Peter Sagan didn't want to be there, take a look at the clip below.
A victim of his own success in many ways, the expectations heaped onto the shoulders of Peter Sagan every time he races were very clear to see in the post race interview today.
After finishing runner-up in the WorldTour event Omloop Het Nieuwsblad to Greg Van Avermaet (BMC Racing), Sagan was effectively asked to account for the fact he didn't win.
Taking the outside line on the curved final stretch of road didn't help but Sagan said he simply didn't have the legs to get past the flying Van Avermaet.
However, the interviewer seemed to think there must be something more to it, suggesting Sagan must be sick.
It's very clear from the start of this clip Sagan knew what was coming; it's not always easy being the highest paid rider in cycling!
Still, he had cheered up a little by the time he went into the TV studio, even lowering his chair so his chin was hitting the desk in front of him, much to everyone's amusement.
