Video: One of the most ingenious big-related inventions we've seen

This looks the business, is really clever and also makes you sound like a horse as you cycle. What more do you want?

Okay, so if you're trying to win a race, ride a sportive or even get some miles in over the winter, this piece is not going to help you.

But if you want to bring something new to your riding and sound like a horse coming down the street, we have just the thing for you.

It's called the Trotify.

And while it's not new we'd never seen it before and we're assuming most stickybotttle readers will be in the same boat.

Developed by a UK company, the Trotify is essentially a series of wheels and pulleys "powered" dynamo-style by your front tyre.

The device is fitted with two halves of a coconut that bang together to make the sound of horse’s hooves as you ride down the street.
