Video: On-board clips of Bennett, Sagan move through bunch

Some fantastic footage has emerged of Sam Bennett and Peter Sagan moving through the peloton at their recent races in Australia.

They each took podium places during their first races in Australia in recent weeks, but the combined horsepower of Sam Bennett and Peter Sagan couldn't at first get past Caleb Ewan.

Bennett finally got the win his Bora-Hansgrohe team was looking for when he demolished the sprint that decided Race Melbourne.

And now some fantastic on-board footage has emerged of both Bennett and Sagan moving through the peloton in two of their recent races.

The first clip is really interesting in showing the communication - talking, shouts and hand signals - used by the team's riders to line-up their lead-out at the People's Choice Criterium; where Bennett and Sagan were 2nd and 3rd to Ewan.

In this first clip also keep an eye out for just how close Bennett gets to the riders next to him and at one stage he appears to almost rub the wheel of his team mate just ahead, yet he doesn't flinch.

And in the second clip, what's captured is the ease Sagan moves up through the field on stage 2 of the Tour Down Under.

These two are well worth a look, they really show what goes on in the bunch and just how good the best of these riders are at bike handling, not to mention the level of work it takes to hold your place and move up when riding in a pro peloton.
