Three time Tour de France winner, Greg LeMond has been working for Eurosport on this year's race, interviewing some of the main riders after each stage.
Yesterday he caught up Ireland's sole representative in the race Nicolas Roche.
In the clip below the Tinkoff-Saxo man speaks about why he's been seen on the front in the closing kilometres of some of the stages so far with team leader Alberto Contador right on his wheel.
He also discusses the team's chance of outright victory with Contador, his own role and how he thinks Chris Froome will be ready for battle on the stage 5 cobbles despite his fall yesterday.
