Most cyclists are well drilled on the dangers of cycling up the inside of HGVs, indeed any vehicles, when they're preparing to turn left.
But lingering in the spot where these cyclists are, and then remaining in that spot as the vehicle pulls off with you, is lethal.
You need to stay completely back or get well ahead so the driver can see you in the road ahead of him.
