Video: Motorbike to blame for Quintana's Vuelta exit? Have a look at this

An bike-mounted camera view of the crash that saw Nairo Quintana leave the Vuelta with a broken collarbone.

Although he had already come a cropper in a bad crash in the individual time trial on stage 10, it was the following day's fall that saw Giro d'Italia winner Nairo Quintana exit the Vuelta a Espana on Wednesday with a displaced fracture of his right scapula, or shoulder blade.

The clip below was shot by one of the Tinkoff Saxo riders with an on-bike camera under his saddle.

It captures the moment the Colombian, riding for Movistar, and a host of others hit the deck.

But if you look closely, you can also see a motorbike drifting back through the peloton on the left of the picture.

This motorbike and its pilot also end up in a heap in the middle of the bunch.

Did it actually cause the pile up that put one of the really big favourites out of the race? Have a look for yourself.
