The footage that's going viral with a row over who is to blame; driver or cyclist?
It was a simple request to Twitter users for help in trying to identify the driver in a hit and run.
But when this cyclist shared a clip of a nasty enough collision he received plenty of abuse.
Many who responded to him believed he wasn’t taking enough care.
And others said he had plenty of time to slow down when the car involved began to cut across his path.
Twitter user BrokenLegs posted the clip, which appears to have been recorded in London in recent days, looking for help in tracing the driver.
@BrokenLegs hope your ok. But you should have seen everyone is stopped and you should slow down and look more carefully.

@JAGVISUALS2 @BrokenLegs he got hit by a car yes, car should not have left. But cyclist was too fast with stopped cars. (I'm a cyclist too).

While many who responded said it was completely unacceptable for the driver not to stop, they believed he wasn’t entirely blameless for the collision.
However, one user posted a section of the UK Highway Code relating to drivers turning right.
It clearly states drivers must “wait until there is a safe gap between you and any oncoming vehicle”. The code adds that drivers turning right needed to “watch out for cyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians”.
However, one Twitter user disagreed so much with the cyclist that he took screen grabs of the incident and published them, show how far the cyclist was from the car when it began its turning movement across his path.
Some reactions on Twitter
@CCSteV Twat. The cycle lane had ended at a junction. You slow down for junctions and DON'T undertake at speed. Cyclists fault.@BrokenLegs

If you didn't see it from where I'm looking, your brakes clearly failed their MOT & you were pedalling illegally. pic.twitter.com/fD2aYuMvEC
