This is the moment a spectator on a fixed wheel bike cycles off the pavement and straight into the Giro d'Italia peloton as it charges towards the finish of Sunday's stage 2.
The blurred figure marked with the cursor arrow is on a bike and is cycling off the path and into the road; lifting the crowd control tape over his head with one hand as he goes.
He swerves towards the bunch and causes a massive pile-up involving around 30 riders, according to the race doctor.
Trek Factory Racing’s Eugenio Alafaci was livid about the incident, saying on Twitter: “If I catch that dickhead who had the bright idea to jump in with the group fixbike 10km from the arrival making us fall...”

Fifth place overall last year; Domenico Pozzovivo of Ag2r-La Mondiale lost 1:09.
The incident is captured in the first video below, though you may have to watch it a couple of times to spot the guy who did the damage.
The second clip below includes arrows pointing to the spectator involved and a voiceover explaining exactly what's happening.
It's much clearer, but just be warned there's some choice language in the voiceover!
