Stephen Roche gets back on his bike and brings us through stage 2 of the Giro in Ireland on Saturday May 10th; from Belfast up the Antrim coast and back again.
He's seen in the photo above on the stage 13 time trial of the 1987 edition.
And though he would lose the maglia rosa that day to team mate and arch rival Roberto Visentini but would regain it to take the race overall.
The video below brings us through the route of Saturday's main stage in the North, following on from the opening team time trial effort around the streets of Belfast, with stage 2 again starting and finishing in the city.
Stage 3 then takes the riders from Armagh to Dublin on Sunday May 11th, concluding the race's trip to Irish shores. We have a preview of that final stage coming up for you.
