Irish cyclist Joe Fitzpatrick has clearly been keeping busy at home during the Covid19 lock-down period.
While other riders having been sharing details of their Zwift rides, and competing in online races, Fitzpatrick has taken a more unusual approach.
He's been gathering up items from his back garden and fashioning home training set-ups, as the videos below reveal.
His first effort involved a couple of ladders and, erm, a rolling pin. It was functional, though we're not sure how it would hold up to high intensity intervals!
His second attempt is truly next generation; a 'go big or go home' effort, if you will.
He's added a large gas bottle to the front of his set-up to mimic the effect of climbing.
Fitzpatrick, who is based in Rathmines in south Dublin, is an experienced club rider and was among the group of Orwell Wheelers that tackled Paris-Breast-Paris last year.
All he's short of now is a flux capacitor, but we're confident he'll find one and work that into the mix somehow!
