With racing having resumed today in Ireland - in the shape of the Kildare TT Championships - and the first road race set for Mondello Park, also in Kildare, next Tuesday, Irish cycling is firmly on the way back after lock-down.
And to mark the sport stirring back into life, two of our cycling clubs have released these videos to promote the work they do in getting riders together out on the road.
Waterford Racing Club features in two fantastic pieces capturing some of its activities. Both videos have been produced by its sponsor Bright Light Studio - the Waterford-based web design, graphic design, photography and videography business.
For those of you from the road racing community, there will be some familiar faces in here; Robin Kelly for one.
A top sprinter in his prime, Kelly won many great races but in this clip he's being put through his paces by his 13-year-old son Ben. He's one to keep an eye on along with his sister Emma (7) who is already pounding the roads on her bike.
The other video offering - another slick production - comes from Challenge CC in Co Galway. It has put together this piece to promote the return of its activities after lock-down.
It's great to see Irish cycling clubs producing this type of content and we wish everyone from both clubs all the best over the next few months in their races and sportives.
