This Irish club spin was given a rude awakening by the van driver, though other vehicles in the clip had not problem at all.
Here’s a very interesting little video containing examples of two kinds of driving; the good and the bad.
It was recorded on a bike-mounted camera being carried by one of the riders on the Team Collinamuck group ride at the weekend new Mamm Cross in Co Galway.
The riders were given the fright of their life when a white van whip passed them very closely indeed in wet conditions.

Tellingly, other drivers seem to have no problem going over the white line and giving the riders plenty of space while passing in a considerate manner.
But the driver of the van goes for a much closer shave despite having plenty of space and time to go wider.
