Cyclists are, by and large, a helpful bunch. But these Spanish riders have secured legendary status for a job very well done in recent days.
The clip below was posted by YouTuber Carlos Gomez today, Monday, January 16th, and it shows his fellow cyclist Faraldo coming to the aid of a cow in labour.
He strips down to the waist and, quite frankly and to his immense credit; he puts his hand in a place most of us wouldn't. Using his obvious knowledge of the calving process he pulls the calf into the world.

Both animals look distressed and for a moment you'd fear the little guy didn't make it. But by the time the clip ends, mother is licking the new arrival as both come around.
Faraldo was left covered in all kinds of everything but he got a huge round of applause from those present, with the incredible mid-spin antics recorded for posterity.
The clip below shows the full calving process so it won't be for everyone. But if you're OK with Mother Nature (in full flight, as it were), this really is an extraordinary clip and a job well done by the cyclists.
