This cyclist gave this driver the repeated finger before the guy slammed on his brakes, came back and smacked him. Are you asking for a thump behaving like this on a bike? Or are the driver's actions a complete no-no? You decide.
Raising your hand to anyone or getting physical in any way is a serious business that really should only be done as a very last resort and for protection purposes.
But let's face it; there are people out there who bring provocation to a new level and who beg to be physically confronted.
And everyone has their breaking point.
Altercations between drivers and cyclists are not uncommon and sometimes things get physical.
Hand gestures from driver to cyclist or vice versa can very rapidly escalate incidents.
And it's such a scenario -in Rome, Georgia, in the United States - that's captured in the GoPro footage below.

Jolly Green Giant: The driver appears to stop his truck on the empty road and waits for the cyclist to reach him, moving quickly around his truck to confront the rider as he tries to nip passed on the inside.
The cyclist repeatedly gives the driver the finger before the motorist stops up ahead on a deserted stretch of road, waits for him and physically tackles him
The cyclist then published the clip, apparently wishing to out the motorist for his actions.
What do we think about this?
Was the cyclist asking for trouble and really only has himself to blame?
Or was the motorist way out of line irrespective of the level of provocation?
And would you have simply hit him back, and felt justified in doing that, if you were the cyclist?
The guy in vehicle was arrested and the cyclist wants to press charges, according to the account on YouTube where the clip was published.
