In the clip a group of riders is taking in a spin in Surrey Hills in the UK last month.
One rider, identified only as Andy, goes over the bars and face plants the ground. Hard.
Despite wearing a helmet, he is knocked out.
And even when he comes around a few worrying minutes later, he hasn’t a clue where he is or what’s just happened.
At one point the ride leader tells the crash victim: “I can send you the video.”
To which the reply comes: “Nice one,” as everyone nervously laughs.
A moment later as the victim is starting to realise what’s happened, one of the groups adds: “It was a great crash, well done.”
Joking aside, this really could have been much worse and underlines how quickly and how easily things can go seriously wrong.
Andy was taken off to hospital and was back in work within two days; lucky to walk away from this one...
