Here's a couple of interviews to feed our road race cravings before the season gets underway in this hemisphere in a few weeks time.
First off, above you'll find the highlights from the People's Choice Classic criterium which took place in Adelaide earlier today. Traditionally it's the warm-up race for the Santos Tour Down Under which is scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
The racing today featured our own Philip Deignan who gave a very good account of himself in his first race for Team Sky, having signed for them from UnitedHealthcare at the end of last season.
Deignan put in some good work on the front of the bunch as the Team Sky train tried to get their Australian sprinter Chris Sutton into a good position; though his chances were hampered by a crash.
In the clip below, you'll see Deignan being interviewed after the stage. He talks about how the race went, looks forward to the Tour Down Under and also discusses his surprise trip to the podium today.
It's the first time Deignan's raced since he crashed out of the Tour of Britain in September when he broke his collarbone during a crash in the time trial.
It's good to see him playing his part for his new team today and also looking so well and sounding relaxed and confident after the race.
