A powder bomb explodes and a brass band appears from nowhere as this thief tries to rob this bike. It was all caught on camera, including his rapid escape!
Here's a really funny and entertaining clip from our colleagues over at We Love Cycling.
They've set traps for bike thieves in Amsterdam, Prague and Rome and filmed the results.
The objective of the exercise is to see how long the bait bikes last in each of the three cities.
Then gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the cities as part of what they dub the European Bike Stealing Championships.
An unlocked good quality bike is left in a public place in each city. And to spice things up the bikes are booby-trapped with a small powder bomb.
The bomb is detonated as the would-be thieves try to make off with the bikes.
And at that second, a brass band is revealed on the back of a nearby truck; bursting into song as streamers and poppers are also let off.
Have a look at the results below. This is really excellent stuff!
European Bike Stealing Championships!

This guy wasn't quite sure what was going on when the red powder bomb blew. But when the band was revealed on the back of the nearby truck and the party poppers erupted, he absolutely legged it through the streets of Amsterdam.
