Video: Geraint Thomas frustrated Wiggins free to "swan around"

“I think Freeman and Brad don’t seem to be having too much of the flak, really, it just seems to be us, which also is annoying,” Geraint Thomas says in the clip below.
Geraint Thomas has questioned why current Team Sky personnel were being criticised and questioned more than former rider Bradley Wiggins.
The Welshman said Wiggins, and Dr Richard Freeman, were at the centre of the events causing all the controversy around Team Sky.
Yet they were free to "swan around" and he could not understand why they were not taking more "flack".
His frank remarks, especially about friend Wiggins, suggest he and the team are very much feeling the pressure.
The media's intense focus on Team Sky has resulted from a UK parliamentary committee inquiry into the culture within the team and the consumption of medicines.
“I think Freeman and Brad don’t seem to be having too much of the flak, really, it just seems to be us, which also is annoying,” he says in the clip below.
“That’s the people that this whole thing involves. They can swan around getting on with their lives.
“And we are the ones who have to stand here now and answer these questions which we have nothing to do with. So that’s annoying.”
Thomas was speaking in Italy before the start yesterday of Tirreno Adriatico.
Team Sky was very unlucky in the team time trial that got the racing underway.
Three of its riders hit holes in the road that broke up their front wheels.
The incidents forced them to a stop and saw the team finish well down the standings.
