This Dublin commuting cyclist was flying through traffic last week until the car ahead braked and he crashed into the back of it (hard), leaving a serious dent on the boot.
We're all in favour of doing a bit of training on the way to work or college rather than crawling around the roads; we've even done a couple of stories with tips on how to maximise your commute.
But the need for speed to get your body working should not come before watching your surroundings carefully in the event the unexpected quickly unfolds.
And that's exactly what happened to the cyclist in the clip below.
He flies past fellow cyclist Johnny Eutah, who recorded the clip with his headcam, and was clearly in a hurry.
However, when the car ahead brakes in traffic the rider drifts to the right of the road, probably because the driver is indicating left.
But the cyclist doesn't seem to anticipate the car is coming to a complete stop and he rams into the back of it.

The rider's foot - which he put out to break his fall - left a massive dent in the back of the car but the cyclist thankfully seemed okay and continued on his way.
The rider instinctively puts his left leg out to break his fall, but manages to leave a not insignificant dent in the car's boot.
And he still flies head and chest first in the back of the car.
We're assured he got to his feet and did not appear to have any serious injury, with driver and cyclist soon rejoining the traffic after a brief exchange of words.
The incident took place last Tuesday morning at the top of Eglington Rd, south Dublin, on the way into the city centre.
Eutah said the other cyclist was sitting behind him as he rode before he slowed down after seeing a schoolgirl on her bike.
The other cyclist then came past him at a clip and simply wasn't able to stop when the car ahead braked, apparently because he was going too fast.
